Medical, service was excellent, but would say , the worst food we have had on any cruise.
The special night restaurant's were excellent did not mind paying extra for these, but the buffet was like a pig trough.

Fabulous library and book/gift shop with wonderful observation windows to gaze out of while reading, or snoozing as most people ended up doing :)) we had a wonderful day in the Canyon Ranch Spa with 3 different saunas to choose from along with the Hydropool and smaller spa pools. I had the Best facial massage ever and floated out extremely relaxed which set the tone for the rest of the cruise. Had my hair done twice in the Hair Salon and make up done once for the formal nights and felt & looked like a million $. Gabriella and the rest of the team are very professional and quick as most ladies wanted their hair done for formal nights so you have to make your booking as soon as you get on board. Hubby was able to hire a Dinner Jacket for the formal nights which we organised on day 1. This saved us having to carry 1 in our luggage and he looked very dapper indeed :)) we enjoyed the Captains Cocktail party with at least 200 other passengers. No hand shake from the captain due to health risk, standard procedure on board , only photographs. Captain and 2IC were very entertaining. The rest of the entertainment and lecturers on board were very good and had to make priorities on what to see as a couple were on at the same time, but cunard solved that by showing a recording of it the next day that could be viewed in your stateroom. Considering this wasn't my preferred cruise, my husbands choice, I am now converted to Cunard. I would, however, like to now try the Queen Victoria or queen Elizabeth as they are smaller ships and have been told they are more intimate. QMII is a beautiful, elegant ship and we are already looking to book our next cruise with Cunard, this time for longer than 11 days.

We paid to use the Spa and hung out there all Saturday afternoon/early evening. Well worth it. The hydrotherapy pools and ambience is awesome. Plus, you are very secluded. Massage was excellent.
I would have to say though, this is certainly a cruise for older people who like to sit around and eat, drink, play cards etc. Not much to do for younger people / families. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and thought it was a fabulous liner.
