Seabourn Odyssey Cruises

Seabourn Odyssey spends her days chasing the sun in the northern hemisphere.  During the warm months of Europe’s summer cruise the Mediterranean on this luxurious ship, with departures from Barcelona, Rome, Lisbon, Monte Carlo, Athens and Venice.  Highlights of her Mediterranean season include itineraries that could have you cruising the islands of Greece, walking the cobble stoned streets of ports along the Adriatic Sea or immersing yourself in the culture of Morocco and the Canary Islands.

As the weather starts to cool in Europe, Seabourn Odyssey makes her way across the Atlantic to the tropical waters of the Caribbean.

Seabourn Odyssey was built by the Italian company T. Mariotti S.p.A., located in Genoa, Italy and named in Venice in June of 2009. On that occasion, the guests on board for the maiden voyage were all honoured as the ship’s godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship. Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships.

Highlights in accommodations are the exceptional Wintergarden Suites, which have a private glassed-in Solarium with a soaking tub and a lounging bed. This suite also features a veranda that is bowed out, giving wonderful views long the side of the ship. The Signature Suites, located all the way forward on Deck 7, have over 900 square feet of inside space and a spectacular wrap-around veranda of 353 square feet. In addition to more larger suites, Seabourn Odyssey‘s additional size is utilised to create more open deck space, and a variety of public rooms and dining venues.

Dining Venues

Some of life’s most cherished moments occur around the table, and every meal with Seabourn is another opportunity to celebrate. Seabourn’s award-winning cuisine starts with the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavors, prepared á la minute by our skilled chefs and served with pride.

The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

The Colonnade
The Colonnade is a more casual alternative with indoor/outdoor seating, sumptuous buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch. The Colonnade serves regionally-themed, bistro-style dinners with table service nightly aboard Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest.

Entertainment & Nightlife

The inviting sound of music, laughter and conversation accompanies the setting of the sun on board our ships. One thing is certain. The day is only just beginning when night falls aboard Seabourn.

Movies Under the Stars
Watch the stars, both on the big screen and twinkling overhead, as you snuggle up for a Hollywood classic or a big hit on the pool deck.

Evening Under the Stars
Dancing anywhere is fun, but dancing outdoors under the stars is something entirely different.

Observation Bar
A stunning round lounge with a square bar and panoramic views. Early Risers’ Coffee and Tea is served here every morning, and piano music makes it a great choice for drinks and conversation before and after dinner.

Sky Bar / Grill
If dining outdoors is a favorite of yours, visit the Sky Grill. There, Seabourn chefs serve up casual, al fresco fare. The Sky Grill is the perfect place for a delightful lunch as you watch the world pass by from the top level of the ship. The grill is also open for occasional dinners featuring grilled specialties such as steak and lobster.

The Patio Bar
A favorite place for an early dinner is the Patio Grill. Open even if it is a bit chilly outside, crew members carefully wrap passengers in blankets, if needed.

Grand Salon
The ship’s main showroom can accommodate all guests, though it seldom does because of the variety available. Lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and other gatherings are held here in the daytime. In the evenings, live music for dancing before dinner gives way to vocal production shows, cabaret performances, comedy, and classical recitals, as well as more dancing later.

Casino
You will find the casino located on deck 5.

The Club
In The Club, bring your dancing shoes and show off your moves or watch others trip the light fantastic to the live band. The Club is located on deck 5.
