Spectacular value on Pacific Sun to North Queensland. Fabulous food, great service, top class entertainment - and, as I did, plenty of easy exercise to keep fit whilst dining on exquisite food. Just walking around the ship and using the stairs instead of the lifts - I actually lost weight! As the Pacific Sun is being decommissioned in July 2012 I will look forward to cruising on other P&O ships.

First cruise experience. Went with 3 others in a quad share room. Was an awesome trip. Great weather. Friendly people everywhere (though in Noumea they werent so friendly). Loved it so much we are going again in a months time, this time on the Princess Dawn.

Being a first timer, didn't know what to expect.Found the staff very nice and helpful.Cabins were kept clean and tidy at all times. The cost for a glass of wine was very expensive ,the queue was so long for the buffets which we avoided for the rest of the cruise.Great food and excellent service in the restaurants.Going ashore was time consuming in the never ending queue which caused my partner to stay onboard at the next stop.Overall very enjoyable.

We decided to spend our honeymoon travelling around Australia on The Sun, everything on board was better than we expected, drinks were reasonably priced, the entertainment was great, the casino great. The only down side was the stops were only during the day, we weren't able to experience any night life at any ports we stopped in. We got a mid-ship window 2 person room, the person assigned to our room was great. She even made us little animals out of the towels each day and got us ice whenever we needed it (the rooms don't have fridges).
