Buffet breakfast and lunch very good. Restaurant dinner very basic and service not good you get better at home in the local club or pub. Drinks expensive compared to other lines. Good range of people on board. A great time was had for what we paid (was a bargain sale). Would do again at the right price. We got a balcony cabin cheaper than an inside.

The food was very basic and not a dining room experience at all. The drinks were over the top in price compared to other lines. The main entertainment was from the guest cruisers apart from a couple of nights with resident dancers/singers. Patrick McMahon was brilliant.
Not enough to do for 60+ age group. Too many children on non school holiday time. Very tired ship and under the impression only TIRED ships are sent into Australian waters. Would not travel Carnival again.

My son and I had a wonderful time on the Carnival Spirit's trip to the South Pacific. The staff were great, they made us feel so welcome and responded with a smile to any requests. We had so many options to choose from for our entertainment and the food was bountiful and tasty. We met some lovely people and I know we both want to go Cruising with Carnival again in the future.
