Fremantle, Australia
Fremantle is a busy commercial cargo port on the southwestern shore of Western Australia. This sheltered, all weather port has two active harbors in operation. The Inner Harbor was opened on May 4 1897 and is located at the mouth of the Swan River adjacent to the historic City of Fremantle. The Outer Harbor, opened on January 11, 1955, is a deepwater bulk port located 20 kilometers south of the inner harbor on the Cockburn Sound. It was specifically developed to service the Kwinana industrial area that expanded rapidly in the 1960s and 70s.

Broome, Australia
Tiny Broome sits in the windswept "Far Corner" of western Australia, on the scenic, arid shores of the Indian Ocean. It became famous early in the century for its pearls and mother of pearl, some of Australia's finest. Pearls are still important here, but tourist attractions -- including the dramatic pearl fishermen's cemetery, and superb ten-mile-long Cable Beach - are Broome's greatest wealth.

Exmouth is a popular tourist destination because of it's year round fishing and beach weather, not to mention the great diving conditions. Some of the world's finest and most accessible coral reef exploration can be done here. This is because Exmouth is situated alongside the Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Reef Marine Park. While there, you may have the opportunity to see a whale shark.

Perth (Fremantle), Australia
In the Far West of Down Under, the twin cities of Fremantle and Perth are like David and Goliath. Fremantle is a quaint colonial town of terraced houses, and a bay that was heaven for America's Cup yachts. Perth has bloomed into a sky-scrapered metropolis, though life remains peaceful on "Millionaires' Row," and in flower-filled Kings Park.

The Rooms were very good and well set out, Bathroom was ok until we had toilet blockage. Food was fair but most of the meals had chilli in and I was restricted in what I could eat. We had flooding through out the ship. On the first morning I slipped in the toilet on deck 11 and hurt my arm which sent me to the Dr and $107 later I was sent on my way. As a smoker I was very disapointed where we were aloud to smoke. We were shoved up in a small corner on deck 12 with 5 chairs to sit on NO cover from the elements or Deck 6 with nothing to sit on. The first night we had at least 30 People up on deck 12 fighting over 5 chairs. Deck 11 looked very impressive with great looking lounges but was very difficult for the older passengers to get on and off them (not sun lounges) and there was no one on that deck after 8
I guess I was very spoilt on my first cruise on the Jewel where deck 11 on the port side with table and chairs was set aside for smokers where we partied until late eating and drinking I know smokers are frowned upon but we pay the same amount to have a cruise and should be provided the same enjoyment on our cruise as everyone else. Also a number of the ships crew were smokers.
If the Eden and Aria from P&O are the only ships that service Fremantle Then I will not be cruising again with them

First time cruiser & was disappointed with experience. Pubic hairs in bath to greet us. Toilet blocked on 2 occasions. Staff were generally friendly & helpful although had to report toilet blockages twice before any action. Food was just average. We paid $1,379 each for a balcony room after being convinced to book early to get the best deal only to find that we could have had a suite for $799 each if we had waited until 3 weeks before the cruise. I asked about an upgrade but was told that it was just bad luck.

Well to prove a point to some other members of the cruising family I put my money where my mouth is and did another BACK to BACK to prove a point.
To my surprise this one was even better than the first. The Food and Wine cruise was great and Chef Bridgett was outstanding. Nick on Mix Bar has trained up two new guys to help him out so he no longer does it but he is still there floating around the place. Oh did I say what a looker chef Bridgett is (much better than anything on TV). The pool at the back of the ship is great(adults only)and if you are as lucky as I was you will meet Gerald and Oky. The food and speciality restaurants on board are of a High standard and the Waterfront restaurant run by Gerard was as usual excellent. One down side to the ship is that some of the shower curtains need to be replaced (to short) and I still should mention again ISEI at the front desk. All I can say now is I AM WAITING FOR THIS BOAT AND CREW TO COME BACK.

As the Title suggests this review is actually 2 Cruises. Sydney/Melbourne. My cruise buddy was off to FIJI so I did these 2 Cruises. Cruise 1. I took my son and his wife this 2 dayer and it was great. They are both young experienced world travellers and had an absolute blast. bar staff were great, entertainment first class and the food was more than passable for a low cost adventure weekend. I missed having a fridge in my room but they will soon be coming I was told. Anyone doing this jaunt should not miss Nick teaching how to Mix A Cocktail Class or any of The Theme Nights. Getting on and off the boat was well organised with very little (if any) disruptions. All of my guests that were with me are now sold on cruising and are pestering me to find others for them to do. Oh! Did I mention that one of my group that I got advice from eg. music/entertainment rated the performers on the Eden as pretty good to excellent.
Cruise 2
This cruise was much better than Cruise 1 for the following reasons,
1. 1 Day longer
2. Menu in the Restaurant on the third night was the best night of all
3. The Duo performing near the pool sang a song for me (how special was that)

THE BOAT.
Obviously a work in progress but this craft has a retractable roof over the main pool and entertainment area so not mater what the weather is doing it cannot ruin any activities. The odour mentioned in comment was possibly the disinfectants and cleaning agents used around the ship and not definitely not a Methane (toilet)smell. Avery special THANKYOU to The Hotel Secretary ISEI TAWAKEVOU (hope I got the spelling right) he and fellow members on his team really made every effort to satisfy all of the guests even the cranky ones. Thanks also To CLEAN CRUISING AND C.G.
